Interior design in an home which is for relaxing and entertainment

The Butterton Project have recently completed by LLT design in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. The owner is a family, a young professional couple with two children, wanted a modern home that wasn’t cold and clinical. They request their home is a place where they can relax and entertain, but at the same time function as a practical family home. It was calculated that up to 40% of the space was very seldom used, which was an important factor in planning the project. LLI Design proposed that more open plan living would suit the family’s lifestyle.

In the living room, furnishings are simple but with strong styling lines,
a bright red retro styled sofa with chaise-end and a rug together with a statement Flos spun floor lamp and bright artworks warm up the area. A limited palette of greys, creams, blacks and reds added drama to the space. The larger reception room was repurposed as a TV / lounge due to it’s lack of natural light. It was important to make this room warm, welcoming and cosy especially as it had been so under used in the past. The palette was kept to oranges, taupes and greys, together with a walnut floor.

A new lighting scheme was designed and specified including new fittings and garden lighting. An Intelligent Lighting system was installed in order to create moods, ambiance and timed events internally and externally, controlled from wall mounted keypads and also by iPads / iPhones.

Beautiful contemporary home in Londrina, Brazil

This beautiful contemporary home adopts an L-shaped design to not only create a fabulous private courtyard that is complete with a spacious deck area and pool, but also to tap into passive heating and cooling technique.
The orientation of the house and its smart design help keep it cool even on the hottest of days, while the use of concrete labs and stone walls on the outside brings privacy to a structure that sits on a corner lot.

When you enter the X11, you notice the wonderful use of contrasting materials that turn the living area into a captivating and visually enchanting space filled with varying textures. A coffee table and dining table with natural wooden surfaces, a plush sofa in the living area that borrows from the hue of raw concrete and sleek marble additions combine in a seamless fashion here. Tall pivoting glass doors connect the living area with the courtyard outside, and the pool area is also accessible from the dining zone and the lovely kitchen. One again, it is the L-shaped design of the house that allows it to create a flowing interaction between the indoor and outdoor areas.

An ideal beach side home for your old years

It is  an ideal home which is near the beach side when you retire and spend your golden years in this.
Luckily, the architects at Rolf Ockert Design had worked to make this dream come true. This home located in Australia.Overlooking the ocean, this house was designed to feel like a vacation home despite its status as a primary residence. From the angular exterior to the sleek furnishings and luxurious backyard, it is a dreamy space that feels like endless summer.

The exterior with its stacked levels and warm wood is modern without any of the minimalist foreboding that can imply. A second level deck complete with its own open skylight is a fun and relaxing space to enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails.

The interior is on trend with plenty of clean lines and cozy neutrals without getting too trendy and thereby veering away from the timeless. Instead, linens and earth tones keep things warm and perfect all year round, not betraying any generational preferences or quirks.
